Performed and delivered a benchmarking cluster analysis for the pharmaceuticals sector in Jordan.

Purpose

To perform a cluster analysis of one industry to serve as the model for future cluster analyses for 12 other promising clusters in Jordan

Activities

Performed desk research and interviewed key stakeholders. Performed cluster studies to draw clear and practicable policy recommendations aimed at improving the clusters' performance. Drafted a 12-month research agenda for Jordanian government institutions that will enable Jordan to identify appropriate long-term investment and trade policies and strategies by focusing on clusters.

Results

Delivered a model cluster analysis and accompanying research agenda to bolster Jordan's Ministry of Planning economic growth efforts.
