Induction Training in Investment Promotion

Summary

Provided investment promotion and facilitation training to newly recruited staff of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC)

 

Purpose

Provide baseline training in investment promotion fundamentals, practice and tactics to new recruits of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center.

 

Activities

Developed a customized curriculum that included exercises in corporate finance, site selection decision making, investment promotion and facilitation techniques and effective presentation methods Trained 35 officers over a seven day period, providing over 50 hours of training. Delivered 175 pages of documentation and ready reference materials to support training.

 

Results

Trainees ranked the training provided as the highest and most relevant of 8 training programs provided by various training specialists and institutions
