Purpose

Locate sources of grant financing and manage staff training program for GIPFZA . Support GIPFZA goal was to become fully independent of donor financing in three years or less.

Activities

Identified over 20 sources of grant funding whose objective mirrored the program needs of GIPFZA Managed the complete grants application process from application to funds transfer Located training opportunities for GIPFZA staff and managed process from initial application to mobilization process

Results

GIPFZA will, for the first time, implement a program to become fully independent of donor financing. Staff will have met the capacity building objectives outlined in the strategic plan.
